Harcourts is thrilled to announce we are now a primary sponsor of Surf Life Saving Northern Region.
It means Surf Life Saving Northern Region can continue to do its amazing work patrolling the beaches north of Raglan and keeping Kiwi families safe.
Harcourts Northern Region Business Development Manager Debbie Brett says Surf Life Saving is hugely important to our local community and across NZ.
“The Northern Region beaches are perceived to be safe and family friendly, and this is mostly true, but with tens of thousands of people visiting every year there are near misses and the work of Surf Life Saving is vital.
“There are 1,300 lifeguards on active duty in the Northern Region and in the previous season they collectively saved 643 lives and kept 131,649 people safe by preventative actions. Kiwis wouldn’t be without them, and that’s why Harcourts is offering our sponsorship,” Debbie says.
Every Harcourts business owner from across Auckland and Northland has stepped forward to offer financial support.

In the Northern Region there are 17 Surf Life Saving clubs and patrols. Last year Surf Life Saving Northern Region Lifeguards completed over 80,000 patrol hours and enabled 13,000 school children to experience a Surf Life Saving programme.
